Teachers
Talk Recruitment's services are free to teachers, teachers can create a profile and register interest in jobs on the site and there is no cost at any time in the process.

Centres and Schools
Centres and schools can view teachers and express interest for free, they can post one-off or multiple jobs on the marketplace for free.  

Centres and schools only pay fees if they hire a teacher for relief or permanent roles.
For relief placements, there is a fixed daily fee for schools or hourly rates if ECE as per the current Talk Recruitment rate card.  
For permanent placements, a one-off fixed fee is charged once a person is hired.

Job Description

Our Nursery and Preschools are a family operated group of Education and Care centres. We opened our New Plymouth centre in January and due to roll growth we are seeking 1-2 registered teachers to join our team.

We provide environments for teachers, akonga and whanau where relationships are at the forefront of all we do.

Successful candidates will:
-Be excited, enthusiastic and passionate about learning;
-Develop warm reciprocal relationships with children and families;
-Be a team player, value ideas and share knowledge within a professional team;
-Be willing to learn;
-Be flexible and reliable;
-Show commitment towards professional development and keeping up to date with current theory and research and sharing this with the team;
-Hold proven ability to work within a diverse group of adults and have a sense of humour;
-Be a teacher who is confident in experimenting with activities for children and a fresh and innovative approach to setting up the environment;
-Be someone who can shine as an individual but collaborate amongst a strong team;
-Seek to further develop teaching skills and expertise, to ensuring quality of care within the setting.
-Be able to have fun, and see every day as different, exciting and valuable in each child's learning journey.
